Losing My Bearings
Even in isolation this all looks screwed up
I can’t make sense
Of the indifference to human suffering
That elected officials show their electors
Incompetence is not the definition that fits what’s going on
What is this psychosis that makes public servants monsters?
Why do they need to lie
When they are immune to the truth?
What drives them to profit
From human misery?
Why do they not behave like humans
According to how we understand humanity?
They are not raping women or shooting children
But they might as well be
Serial killers in an official capacity
Executioners via the dispatch box
Perjurers with political immunity
Monsters in fancy dress
What are you dressed up as?
- A Secretary of State
They may as well repeat “wobble wobble”
Indefinitely
It would be more honest
And make more sense
