A well written and compassionate article. My one thought is that the Jewish people can no longer have a special, exceptional status like they've enjoyed over the last 80 years. It has both protected them and made them a target.

The Israel lobby has unfortunately validated most of the tropes it has weaponised in protection of the Israeli state. There can no longer be a hierarchy of racism or fear of being an antisemite. Humanity must weep for every inhumanity and stand with all those oppressed against their oppressor.
