The truth of Mizrahi's suicide is most likely that he saved himself from the living hell of being tortured by his conscience, a mercy he couldn't offer any of his victims. The picture of him as a young child screams "you made a monster out of this".

I do think its the role of a journalist to process the bare facts so that we who don't share the breadth of experience can make sense of the news. It's almost the role of a priest. I can understand that being a truth teller can be a nail in your coffin as a journalist but if these CNN journalists could only look to the doctors working in Gaza and see how they've sold their souls.
