An excellent piece, easy to read and digest and not in the least bit controversial by any decent standards. It might be they didn’t stand out as such monsters in their time but, objectively, they still were. If it weren’t for those who campaigned and worked to expose the monstrosity and de-normalise the inhumanity we wouldn’t be in this position to challenge our history with any hope of getting traction.
