As Britain fought Germany in 2 world wars it’s taken as read that there is something noble about our sacrifices across both conflicts when WWI was merely a clash of empires & WWII was arguably won by Russia who get no credit in British consciousness. The Cold War is testimony to our duplicity while the current blanket defence of Israel proves that our self righteousness is a happystance of fate that flies in the face of empirical evidence.
