I am grossly uninformed on most history as are most people. I am always learning. But your argument is quite 2 dimensional. You can bring up as many facts as you want and justify them in their own right. I am fully aware of the gerrymandering that’s been going on for decades but the Democrats are just as guilty of it in their own way.

My point is that I can say FU Biden then vote for him which is holding 2 truths in tension. It’s about being true to myself while doing what I have to do. In 2016 the deplorables in the rustbelt said FU Clinton and voted for Trump out of desperation.

If you treat people as ballot fodder they will give up or vote against their own interests just to make a point. If you blame the people of America for the political cesspit that is Congress then you are part of the problem.
