I pretty much agree with your diagnosis and agree that privatisation would be a bad move and only make matters worse. My only issue is your hope that Keir Starmer (as PM) would change anything for the better. You do realise he breaks all his pledges and is as committed to the security state as the Tories. I can only see the BBC getting worse.
