Ironically we are being gaslit as we read this. You cannot vote or buy your way out of this when you don't have a democracy and your commodities are supplied by a handful of corporations. Cops are not designed to care for your community and both society and economics are based on racism, oppression and inequality.

If this pause merely moves you to buy and invest ethically you've completely missed the point. Unless capitalism is rejected and the corporations broken up, 2020 will be a picnic compared with what's coming down the pike.
