It should be noted that both the main parties in the UK and mainstream media have pandered to the far right. The Tories have blowing their racist dog whistle for months in order to cover up their own failures. The Labour Party wooed the far right to engender support yet all they managed to do was convert Tory votes to Reform votes. This is why Labour won the election despite having a lower vote tally than in 2019 which they classed as a disaster.
