Its been said that the Vietnam war was abandoned because of the draft. No one wished for themselves, their son or daughter to be conscripted. Self interest is a powerful force and that element appears to be missing in this case. Except there were certain aha moments in the case of Vietnam.

In this case we've seen this show before and the storyline is very familar. Also, the illusion that was the American Dream has already been exposed and America's toxic interference in foreign powers is not controversial. On top of that we have Iraq, BLM, Flint, East Palestine & now Gaza. The dam has to break some time.
