Problem is white people can’t do anything about their whiteness and 60 years of anti-racist laws haven’t fundamentally changed the racist dynamics. The first black President did almost nothing for black people in America and if Harris becomes the first president that’s a woman of colour she’ll do nothing for women or people of colour.

If CoVID has given us anything it’s a first row seat for the shit show the USA has always been. We can only beat this if we come together as black, white, native, immigrant. Powerless as individuals but unstoppable as a collective. Disavowing flags and nation states and standing together against all oppressors.

When a black woman can sleep safely in her home, all women will share that space. When a Palestinian family are allowed to sleep through the night, no American child will need to fear a school shooting.
