Richard Dawkins has always struck me as arrogant, pompous and self opinionated and I never understood why he had such a following. His morality is rooted in radical selfishness where happiness is the avoidance of all things that bother us. He would be perfectly at home in Victorian Britain where the answer to the country's ills was to put people in asylums and work houses.
