Spot on. Those rooting for Ukraine to win are either committed for reasons personal or ideological or they are misinformed. There is no scenario in which Ukraine takes back the Donbass and then sues for peace. The Collective West doesn't have in reserve the weapons or arms Ukraine needs to achieve such an outcome. The Ukrainian people are being led down a road to hell while the drums of war sound more and more hollow.
