There appears to be a need for everyone to address issues according to a label. I am aware that labels have a place such as when a diagnosis means you get extra help in education. I'm also aware that in the past many children have been called stupid when they have dyslexia. But now it feels like anyone who's anyone has been diagnosed as ADHD or something similar.

Beside it being unnecessary for her to label herself as an introvert with social anxiety, being an introvert doesn't mean you have difficulty talking to the press. I'm certainly an introvert and I thrive in the limelight.

We are all complex, being the product of many things. I don't want to come down on someone who needs to explain themselves in terms of a condition but I'm a bit suspicious of the trend.
