There is a similarity between Donald Trump and Boris Johnson. Both are narcissists, both are philanderers, both lie repeatedly and both are shameless. Yet despite their shape shifting and untrustworthiness they are somewhat genuine. They don’t hide their infamy.

This is what differentiates them from most politicians & that’s what appeals to voters.
