This is an excellent piece. I have have been asked to take the knee this evening and it feels cheapened by my hypocritical leaders who make a display and do nothing that demonstrates that they mean it.

You should take the kickback you’re getting as a badge of honour. This should remain controversial, otherwise lip service will be paid but no real change will be made. We don’t need these politicians to join the fight, we need them to step aside.

It’s been nearly 60 years since MLK and we’ve moved inches. Anyone who pretends we have moved more than a hairs breadth in the last 2 weeks is delusional and these leaders will dog our every step. War has been declared and without justice there will be no peace.

To hell with these people.
