This is doubly difficult considering Israel's history of abuse on all concessions on behalf of the Palestinians and repeatedly stacking the cards heavily in their favour whenever a deal is on the table. Palestinians have repeatedly underestimated the cynicism of Israel.

There obviously need to be concessions on both sides even though Israel cannot be trusted at all.
