This is sound advice that resonates with me, however its slightly more complex than that (isn't it always?). I hate endings. I love sus chords (they don't resolve) and endings to films that assume something else significant is going to happen after you've left the theatre.
I wonder if its about facing reality which is inescapable rather than a promise which is yet to be fulfilled and properly defined. Maybe I'm just a bad ender but then maybe I just think I am.
