This scares me a little. It feels like a first world problem. I understand the refusal to allow society and potential predators off the hook and in no way blame girls for dressing this way. However I wonder if you're both blaming and excusing society that has been both liberalised and individualised leaving young women vulnerable, both to the judgementalists and the predators.

It's a sad reality that liberal and conservative societies create the same victims but from different standpoints. You can't simply teach all men not to sexualise women because if the predators are out there (and they don't appear to be a dying breed) society has a duty to protect and not through shame.

It's complicated and this is a clumsy response.
