Unfortunately we don't get to vote for our Prime Minister. Liz Truss would never have filled that role had that been the case.

Thankfully UK politics isn't saturated in dirty money as in the USA and our politicians still tend to have a residual sense of fair play but to label our democracy as 'full' is a joke.

What gives me some hope is that the Tories are a spent force and the Labour Party has vastly underestimated the impact of it standing with Israel so there's a faint hope that independents could upset the apple cart.
