We’ve seen previously that many in the IDF are not prepared to die for Israel. The settlers have been given their settlements on a plate - easy come easy go. Israel can only succeed from the air but if they flatten Gaza they will lose any credibility they had.
In the Hebrew scripture the Israelites are told not to depend on Egypt because it’s like a reed and will pierce them. They will find this true of the collective West which is a sinking ship.
The hubris of Israel will be its downfall.
