While I will agree that the charge of misoginy is unfairly levelled at Islam from those of other faiths, this response is disappointing. You cite Colossians 3:18 (though you don't quote it) yet Colossians 3:19 disarms your objections where Paul says "Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them".

In your conclusion you claim that Christians are no longer true to their faith and practice liberalism even though that doesn't advance your argument. I would propose that fundamentalist Islam (not true or orthodox Islam) and fundamentalist Christianity are both abusive and only separated by the sources they cite.

The point of original sin (which unfortunately is a bedrock of evangelical teaching) is essentially a way of subjugating the devotee to their faith and I'm sure is used in Islam for the same purpose. I feel that comparing other faiths has only served to put the spotlight on your own, fairly or unfairly).
