You are getting a heap of pushback on this article, most of it unjustified in my opinion. Regardless of the outcome, your appraisal of the journalism (the validity of the story aside) is refreshing. The criticisms largely miss the point, as one might expect.

The one valid criticism though, is your proving a negative claim. That really doesn't make sense and it jars.

I find all the "Tara's a scheming liar" posts very disappointing and rather shameful.
